Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has called on all international partners to respond decisively to the massive Russian terrorist attack targeting critical civilian infrastructure, including the energy sector, across Ukraine with hundreds of drones and missiles.

Following a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions of the country.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that during the night, Russia launched more than 30 missiles and over 450 drones targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. More than 20 people were injured, and in Zaporizhzhia, a child was killed.

On the night of October 10, Russian forces launched an attack on thermal power plants operated by DTEK Group.

In Kremenchuk district of Poltava region, an energy infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of direct hits and falling debris from Russian aerial targets.

In Kyiv region, about 28,000 households in Brovary and Boryspil districts were left without electricity overnight on Friday, October 10, following a massive combined attack by Russian forces using missiles of various types and strike drones.

In Cherkasy region, infrastructure was damaged as a result of an air attack by Russian forces; three people sought medical assistance.

Over the past 24 hours, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) struck 812 enemy targets, and since the beginning of October, as many as 7,198 targets have been hit.
