Presentation of Oleksandra Shutko’s book on Ukrainian women’s influence on Ottoman Empire to be held in Kyiv

Oleksandra Shutko, a researcher of Ottoman Empire history, has published a new book in which she draws on archival documents to describe life in the sultan’s harem and the influence of Ukrainian women on the Ottoman Empire. The book launch will take place in Kyiv on July 2.
