Energoatom plans to build a new nuclear power plant with four power units in the Cherkasy region.

According to the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom, the team is actively looking for sites to construct the NPP. The most promising of them is Chigyrinskyi, near the town of Orbita in Cherkasy Oblast.
